Fatherhood looks incredible on A.J. Green. The NFL star tells media that his son, Easton Ace Green, motivates him to play hard and strive for greater heights in his career.
“Every time I come home he looks at me and crawls up my legs so, that’s the best part, going home,” A.J. says. “From Day One I always wanted to be a role model,” the star adds. “For me, that’s who I am. I didn’t have to be somebody I wasn’t coming into the league. I had a great foundation from my family. This is who I am as a person. I really didn’t have to change who I am.”
Green’s unwillingness to change his personality has led him to much success in football. A.J. hopes that his son will get to see him in action on the field in coming months. “I can’t wait until he can come to a game this year,” the celebrity father gushes. “He’ll be walking,” A.J. adds. “Probably still not understanding the game but he’ll be there.”
The NFL sensation goes on to tell media, “I just hope he gets a little older and daddy wasn’t a has been. Daddy used to be someone back in the day. I’ve always got film I can go back to.”
Easton is A.J. Green and wife Miranda Brooke-Green’s only child. He celebrates his first birthday in September.
