Wendy Williams and her husband, Kevin Hunter, are spreading loads of charity through their non-profit organization, The Hunter Foundation. The celebrity couple and their son, Kevin Hunter Jr., smiled while celebrating their charity at Planet Hollywood Times Square in New York City earlier this week.

It was just a few weeks ago that Williams and those participating in her Health and Wellness charity extension program teamed up with City Harvest to hold a food giveaway that delivered more than 18,000 goods to upwards of 300 families living in the Bronx area. The event was held at St. Mary’s Park Community Center-BronxWorks, which serves as an outlet for children between the ages of 5 and 21 all year round.

Wendy and Kevin Sr.’s non-profit organization was established on the premise of helping the disenfranchised who are typically overlooked or shunned by society. The charity’s mission is as follows:

“The Hunter Foundation’s mission is to forge alliances with public and private organizations for the purposes of helping women and men overcome addiction and provide opportunities for them to improve their lives and also to improve the lives of children and families through innovative programs, services, and grant-making initiatives.”

To date, Wendy and her organization have assisted thousands by providing hot meals to individuals who do not have the means to fully support themselves. Of special notoriety is the Hunter Foundation’s 2016 Holiday Dinner’s event in which more than 1,000 people were fed in one sitting.
