“With this episode, they see a family that looks like our family.” Wanda Sykes joined others in praising Disney’s Doc McStuffins for celebrating diversity this past weekend. The series focused its attention on a same-sex couple who learned the importance of having an earthquake kit and inadvertently shed light on acceptance with its two-mom family dynamic. “We’re two moms,” Wanda who served as the voice-over for one of the moms in the episode said in an interview. “It’s going to be very exciting for [my kids] to see our family represented.” See what else the celebrity mom said about the episode in the exclusive interview above!
