It never fails, you haven’t spoken more than three words to your preteen all morning and then suddenly, when you start a conversation on the phone with someone else, they want to know everything from how was your day to what’s for dinner to they can’t seem to find any clean underwear or worse. And of course, the person on the other end of the line is wondering, can you simply have five minutes to yourself?
