CORDELL BROADUS ROCKS THE RUNWAY DURING #NYFW FOR PHILIPP PLEIN, OPENING DOORS TO HIS FUTURE

Cordell Broadus has well proven that he is a modern-day Adonis on the runway. Well, if we thought that he could not top what he has done in the fashion industry to date, we were wrong.

The 20-year-old burned up the runway during fashion week at Philipp Plen’s runway show along with his grandfather, Vernell Varnado, aka Poppa Snoop, in New York City at the Hammerstein Ballroom on September 9th.

“I’m just using fashion as a vehicle to open up more doors and opportunities for my entrepreneurialism further down the line,” Snoop Dog’s 20-year-old son told The NY Post backstage during the show. “I want to executive-produce and star in my own movies. I’m going to use modeling as a branding platform so people can see my face and see my brain. I want to make movies like Marvel, and I want to tell stories. I want to do a story on my grandfather and his life because he’s a Vietnam vet. He’s got tremendous stories and life experiences.”

Snoop Dog’s spry father landed five scenes himself  in the Tupac movie, All Eyez on Me and caught Plein’s eye, becoming a must-add to the runway show, and of course, his own Instagram account has exploded with new followers as a result. “I came up here just to be his guardian angel, and all of a sudden I get 2,000 followers in two days,” Poppa said backstage at the show to The NY Post.
