He's got skills! Derrick Rose was filmed while showing his son, Derrick Rose Jr., the ropes earlier this week.

The celebrity father gave his son the chance to bounce around the court alongside his fellow team members who were also shooting hoops. Little Derrick did so well that one of the onlookers on the sidelines gave him props. Way to go, PJ!

One fan commented on Derrick Rose's skills by calling him "the best player in the nation." The Cleveland Cavaliers player would probably agree as he recently told media that he is confident in his abilities on the court this season.

"Being here, having a chance to show what I still have, to show what I’ve been working on this offseason – not even this offseason," he said during his talk with The Vertical. "I think I was hooping my a*s off last season, too. But the losing overshadows everything. You get overlooked. The only thing I was missing was this stage. Coming here, playing on TV 40-something times a year, I think that takes care of that. I just wanted a chance. That’s it."

Derrick will certainly get his chance to shine while playing alongside LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Isaiah Thomas and others. The Cavaliers have quite the lineup of superstars this season. Some are already predicting them to win the championship next year.

While the verdict is still out on who will come out as victors of the 2018 NBA Championship series, fans can definitely expect to see Derrick Rose leaving everything on the court.

"I know I’m the product. I know how good I am," the star told The Vertical. "It’s kind of like betting on yourself. So, I’ll put everything that’s in my account. I’ll put my life on it. Trust me, I know how hard I work. I’m looking forward to it."
