Jaden Smith partnered with Umami Burger for an epic charity event earlier this week, and who else but his mom was there to support him? Jada Pinkett Smith gave her son lots of hugs and kisses while at the “Umami Burger x Jaden Smith Artist Series” launch event at The Grove.
The celebrity mom planted a kiss on her son’s cheek while on the red carpet. Numerous photographers captured the moment that Jaden snuggled closely to his mom. Another photo in the spotlight was of Jaden and Jada posing for paparazzi. Is anyone else overwhelmed by the fact that Jaden is no longer a little boy but a fully grown man hosting charity events? Amazing!
Jaden was the perfect artist to bolster Umami Burger’s charity benefit to fund American Red Cross hurricane relief efforts. After all, it was just last week that the young adult put a few of his clothes up for sale to raise funds for storm victims. Smith is also a fan of Umami Burger.
“From the first time I tasted the Impossible Burger, I knew I wanted to be part of the positive change that Umami and Impossible Foods were creating,” Jaden said in a statement regarding the launch event. “They are at the forefront of food and technology and continue to move into the future of plant-based diets. I’m excited to celebrate this social impact and bring the youth with me.”
Sam Nazarian, founder and CEO of Umami Burger’s majority shareholder, also had words about the collaboration. “We wanted to celebrate the launch with another incredible Artist Series,” he explained. “With Jaden Smith’s undeniable passion for healthy living and strong social influence, we’re pleased that by creating this limited-time trio, one important cause can help fuel another.”
Umami Burger is known for its unique menu that includes extraordinary hamburgers and incredible salads. The secret behind the chain is its ingredients list that has remnants of both Asian and Western cuisine.
