Only in the world of Slick Woods do you hit the runway in apparel that nearly has you bearing all only to go backstage and go into labor. It all went down during Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty show in Brooklyn, New York, this past Wednesday (September 12).
Slick rocked the stage with black pasties and matching lingerie. The young model was the epitome of confidence on the runway as she cradled her stomach while striking all of the right poses for the camera. The real action, however, began the moment that Slick got out of the spotlight.
According to TMZ,
“Just as the 22-year-old walked backstage, we’re told she went into labor. We’re told paramedics showed up to help Slick along. She was taken to the nearest hospital.”
Slick Woods delivered a baby boy who she and partner Adonis Bosso decided to name Saphir.
It was just a few months ago that Slick told media source ELLE that she did not learn that she was expecting until five months into her pregnancy. “I was really, really, really sick in London, but thought it was because of travel, so a doctor gave me pills for flu,” she shared. “Went to Paris: more pills for flu. And then I went to LA, and they tried a sonogram, and I saw my baby’s face and heard his heartbeat. Tears of Joy.”
