Nicole Ari Parker and her daughter, Sophie Kodjoe, were two of many in attendance at the Boutique of Hope charity event earlier this week. The celebrity mom and her “mini me” were joined by several celebrities at the event.
Taraji P. Henson was definitely in solidarity with the mission of the gathering. In fact, Taraji was the guest of honor at the event. “An AMAZING day,” Nicole shared with her Instagram fans. “So much love and support in the room,” the celebrity mom continued. “Celebrating the launch of the one and only @TarajiPHenson ‘s #BorisLawrenceHenson foundation for raising awareness and providing access to help for young people struggling with anxiety depression and often undiagnosed emotional trauma.”
Boutique of Hope is a fundraiser supported by Banner Health. The medical center carries the ultimate hope of eliminating cancer and carries out such aspiration through research and by providing resources to patients living with the disease. According to the organization’s website,
“The Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center Boutique of Hope helps cancer patients and survivors look and feel their best. … Our compassionate fitters assist with fittings for breast prosthetics, bras, camisoles, and wigs. Fitters are available for free fitting consultations. Fitting services are offered for breast prostheses, bras, and wigs. Our beautiful, spacious fitting rooms ensure privacy and comfort during consultations.”
