Bri’Anna Harper is going places. The 10-year-old made her television debut on Ellen after a video clip of her singing “Who’s Lovin’ You” went viral.
The footage garnered millions of nods, which caught Ellen’s attention. “I like to listen to 80s, 90s and 60s greatest hits,” Bri’Anna shared. “My mom told me when I was a little baby, I wouldn’t go to sleep until I heard Aretha’s [Franklin] greatest hits,” the rising star said.
“We are extremely proud of Bri’Anna,” the youngster’s mom, E’Boni Harper, told Ellen. “This is amazing and we’re just happy to be here,” she added.
Ellen had quite the surprise for Bri’Anna and her family. Not only did the show’s host give the 10-year-old a platform on which she could sing the song that made her famous, but Ellen also gave the Harper family a new Honda Pilot. Did we mention that Ellen also gave the Harpers $10,000? The cash was tucked away in the trunk of the SUV. Now, how’s that for awesome?
