That’s So Raven alum Orlando Brown raised eyebrows last month when he appeared on Dr. Phil McGraw’s show for what was supposed to be an intervention. During the interview, Brown  admitted to having many kids, but only acknowledging four of them. He said, “I got a 2-year-old, 4-year-old…5-year-old, 8 and 11… Two-year-old still in the belly. We don’t know [the name] yet.”

We still don’t know how many kids Orlando has, but we did some digging around and found that he is a new dad and recently welcomed a daughter named Journee Annistyn Brown on September 30th, 2018.

We spoke to Journee’s mom, Briana Cherelle, who was kind enough to give us details about Brown and his relationship with their daughter:

What is your relationship to Orlando Brown?

“We were engaged but we split up right before he went into rehab (when he really started trippin).”

Briana says that she and Orlando were friends for a couple of months before they started dating. Things didn’t work out especially after Orlando started “trippin” because of drugs so they broke off their engagement, but they still talk every other day. She also says that Orlando has never questioned the paternity of their child unlike his son Hunter Duke Brown.

Has his mental issues affected your relationship?

Yes, it really did. But I realize he wasn’t in his right mind and have forgave him for the ugly past.

Does Orlando acknowledge your baby?

Yes

Did he demand for a DNA test like he did his son Hunter?

“No definitely Not! He actually went into rehab right before I had her because I told him he couldn’t meet her in that state. Plus I know he wanted his life back away from the drugs.”

Is Orlando like that (how he was on the Dr. Phil show) in real life?

“I had seen that side, but for the most part he was always NORMAL and sweet! He actually told me once “I haven’t been this clean in a long time”

Is there anything you want to add?

“I love him with all my heart! Everyone has problems, but through all of this and the roller coaster we were on, I am still here for him and I can’t speak for the other bms, but if Journee being in his life can help make him a better person I’m all for it .”
